Finished my latest commission. Acrylic on canvas portrait of a rescue Pitbull named Yolanda. My client wanted a ‘nautical’ theme so I opted for an anchor wallpaper and added sailboats to her bowtie. I did use some spray paint for the background for texture. Really enjoyed this painting and can’t wait to see it at its new home.

Finished the rest of the commission for my friends in Texas. These 2 will be hung alongside the purple oak.
I did this piece for a friend as a gift. I painted over another piece and took advantage of the texture, which is one of my favorite things to do. Used very quick brush work and kept a light and loose approach. I’m happy with the result. I hope she is too…
